Champaggles is a wee bit sick. Poor thing has allergies! Her left ear is all sowllen and red inside. The vet said it was just skin irritation right now, but was well on the way to be infected. So we went to the vet just in time. Dr. Bergeron, her vet, gave me some hydrocrotizone ointment to put in her ear twice a day for 10 days.
When I got home yesterday, before we went to the vet, Champagne was so happy to see me home early. She rolled over on her back so I could rub her belly. I noticed her little girly part was red and irritated on one side. So while at the vet I pointed that out as well. The vet said that I could..gently put some of the ointment for her ear on her little girly part. I said what?!?!? She was like yeah just lightly brush it one with your finger. OMG!! Seriously!!
My dog was not my best friend when I tried to gently brush the ointment on her little girly parts. I have to do that twice a day for 10 days.
Grrr Argh

Ah, mothers must do things they sometimes feel incredibly uncomfortable doing -- but for the greater good of girly irritation -- champaggles will definitely thank you for "violating her" with ointment. HEEE HEE
